Hot Shots Golf at PSP launch, Doko Demo Issho later

Sony's popular golf series will be ready for day one of the PSP's life, but the virtual-pet game will be four days late.

TOKYO--Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that the PSP version of its popular golf game, Minna no Golf Portable, will be released at the handheld's launch on December 12. The game will be priced at 4,800 yen ($45).

Minna no Golf is known as Hot Shots Golf in North America. The PSP edition of the game will allow for head-to-head play via the handheld's wireless LAN capability. For more details on the game, check out GameSpot's hands-on preview.

In related news, SCE also announced that its virtual-pet game for the PSP, Dokodemo Issho, will be released four days after the handheld's launch, on December 16. The game will be priced the same as Minna no Golf, at 4,800 yen. More details on Dokodemo Issho can also be found in GameSpot's hands-on preview.
