Artifact Entertainment has updated the Web site dedicated to Horizons: Empire of Istaria with new screenshots and information on the game's playable characters. The site includes bios of each of the nine playable races that will be available at the game's launch, with images of their home environments.

There's also updated information about the game's intricate trade-skill system, the combat system, and the sophisticated community features. Horizons' world is threatened by the advance of the undead, and players will have to settle dangerous frontier areas to hold back the dynamic progress of this evil force. To this end, players can buy plots of land and create communities of homes and work together to create artifacts and large structures that help the entire community.

Horizons is currently in beta testing and is scheduled for release this fall. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
