Vivendi Universal said that Homeworld 2 has shipped to retailers nationwide, with a price tag of $49.99 and an ESRB of "T."

The sequel to Relic's 1999 3D real-time strategy game promises a new chapter in the sci-fi saga, which has players take command of large fleets of spaceships and maneuver them in 3D space. Homeworld 2 features multiplayer support for up to six players and comes packaged with tools that will allow users to create custom maps.
