Infantry
You have six infantry slots total. You can use any of these loadouts from the start, but can only edit the top four from basic level 1. A nice advantage is that some of the loadouts come equipped with items that you won't have access to for some levels. The notable is the Explosive Infantry with its AQ-11 Buzzard and Proximity Launcher. If you're going to edit any of the Infantry start with the basic Assault, as it has some base skills that can be easily overwritten.

Primary Weapons
Each Infantry loadout can make use of one Primary weapon. Rifles are good for medium to longer ranges due to their accuracy; though often they might not have the greatest accuracy and range of fire. Machineguns are good for medium and close range combat do to their high rate of fire, but their accuracy makes them the less than optimum choice for longed ranged fighting. Sniper rifles are of course for very long distances, taking down foes from unseen areas. They aren't very good for close quarters combat due to low rate of fire. Keep in mind that some weapons--mainly sniper rifles--cannot make use of attachments to further their capabilities. Assault Rifles can typically use all types of attachments, making them the most diverse weapon.

Attachments and Explosives
Attachments and Explosives are single slot upgrades per Infantry loadout. You can select one Attachment and one Special Explosive per Infantry.
Attachments
Unlike most other loadout gear, Attachments require total kills instead of experience levels to be unlocked.
Attachments range from sight enhancements, silencers and underbarrel firearms. In most cases Assault Rifles are the only guns that can receive all forms of attachments. Due to the amount of drones and vehicles on the battlefield the EMP Launcher has a huge advantage. The Grenade Launcher and Silencer also have situational uses. Still, if you find secondary firepower rather useless stick with the ACOG Scope for extra sighting.

Grenade Launcher

Explosives
Special Explosives are secondary grenades that are added along side your standard frag grenades. EMP Grenades are always great to take down the waves of enemy drones and vehicles, while Flashbangs can disable and annoy lone infantry. C4 can also be used to catch your enemy by surprise or set up traps.
EMP Grenade

Purchasables
Purchasables can be gained by spending eared BP during a match. They will only last for one life or until they are destroyed (whichever comes first). You can assign two Purchasables per each Infantry loadout.
Drones
Drones are remote controlled devices that can be used to changes the course of the fight. Keep in mind that you are completely vulnerable when using a drone, so be sure to be well hidden or protected by your allies before deploying a drone. If the drone is destroyed or runs out of battery life, you will return back to first-person view. The Parrot is good for showing locations of enemies, while the Buzzard is great for taking out ground enemies. The Rhino is however the best bet for taking on heavy ground vehicles.

Abilities

You start with only 3 points to start with, but will gain more reserve points as you gain experience levels. Try to pick abilities that will strengthen your current equipment and ignore ones that contradict each other. For example avoid equipping drone enhancements when you have no plans of putting a drone in your Purchase slot. Among the most universally helpful are Grave Robber, Quick Heal, and Grizzled.

Vehicles
There are five vehicles that can be purchased and added to the battlefield with earned BP. If an ally has summoned a vehicle there may also be an option to spawn in the gunner's seat. The Humvee for example has no primary weapon, but a passenger can help defend with the mounted machinegun. You can choose to leave a vehicle, and theoretically can steal vehicles that have been abandoned by the enemy.
Upgrades
You can start upgrading each vehicle at different levels: Humvee (10), Light Armor (15), Heavy Tank (22), Scout Heli (29), and Attack Heli (37). As with Infantry abilities, Vehicle upgrades each cost between 1 to 3 points. Your point reserve will also increase as you gain more experience levels.
