Those who pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight Limited Edition might want to finish the game before admiring the statue bundled with it.
Found on the base of the twelve-inch plastic sculpture is a plaque which reveals a major development in the game's story line. The message printed on the plaque, which we won't reveal here, goes as far as implying how the game will end.
Amazon, which has exclusive rights to sell the Limited Edition, accidentally revealed the game's supposed ending by publishing a picture of the statue on its listing. However, shortly after Videogamer published a story highlighting the spoiler, the retailer quickly swapped the offending image out.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the third instalment of Rocksteady's trilogy of Batman games, the first two of which were commercial successes and won numerous awards.
Originally intended to be released in 2014, Batman Arkham Knight's release date has been delayed again, this time to June 23. The game is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The premium-priced Amazon UK Limited Edition comes with an additional SteelBook case, artbook, comic book, statue and character skins pack.
