[UPDATE] Square Enix has confirmed that the Hitman beta will begin February 19 on PC.

The original story is below.

IO Interactive announced today at PlayStation Experience that the Hitman PlayStation 4 beta will begin on February 12, 2016. The date was confirmed in a new trailer that also reveals the PS4 version is getting six bonus contracts called "The Sarajevo Six." We'll add the new trailer to this story soon.

The Hitman beta will also be offered on PC, though it's unclear if it starts on February 12, too. As announced previously, the Hitman beta will not be available on Xbox One.

You can guarantee yourself a spot in the beta by preordering Hitman.

The full version of Hitman arrives across PS4, PC, and Xbox One in March 2016. The game was originally slated to launch this year, but was later delayed so that developer IO Interactive could add more content.
