Here's What the New Xbox One Gamerscore Leaderboard Menu Looks Like
Also, don't get your hopes up for a new Age of Empires game because of a recent tweet.
Xbox engineering lead Mike Ybarra has shared a picture of what the Xbox One's Gamerscore leaderboard will look like after it's changed with an upcoming update.
As you can see, the page lets you look at the Gamerscore earned by month and compares your score to what friends achieved over the same period of time--the past 30 days. Missing is the "compare games" option, but it's possible it's present further down the page.

The image below shows off what the Gamerscore leaderboard currently looks like. The updated version is far more simplified, or at least the screen that Ybarra showed off is. It remains to be seen if the Gamerscore leaderboard page will change in any further ways with the upcoming update.
There is no word yet on when the update that introduces this change will be released or what else may be included with it. We'll report back with more information as it becomes available.
In an unrelated matter, Ybarra also tweeted recently that his previous tweet that contained a picture of an Age of Empires elephant was not a tease for a new game. Bummer.
Sorry to disappoint, but it was just a picture of an Age elephant we have in one of our buildings. https://t.co/qKFDsorEhO

The latest major Xbox One update came out at the start of August. It added support for Microsoft's Siri-like digital assistant Cortana and unlocked background music, among other things.
