But cleaning up the city doesn't end here.

GameSpot producer Erick Tay has just beaten The Division, and this is the endgame screen he was greeted with upon finishing the final boss fight. He went on to hit level 30, gaining access to Daily Missions.

Without spoiling too much, Tay noted that the ending did leave the game's story open for continuation. As can be seen in the screenshot, the Dark Zone (an area featuring player-versus-player combat) is still around for cleaning up. You can watch some of the endgame content he encountered in our live-stream here.

The Division launched earlier this week for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Our review of the game will be published once we feel that we've had a satisfactory amount of time with the campaign, Dark Zone, and experienced the live, populated servers for ourselves.

Ubisoft has high hopes for The Division, as it believes it could join Destiny, Watch Dogs, and Assassin's Creed to become one of the biggest new IP launches ever.
