As marketing for Resident Evil Village ramps up, Capcom has released a Japan-exclusive replica of the wool coat Chris Redfield wears in the game, as reported by Kotaku. It comes with an eye-watering price tag of ¥159,731, roughly $1500 USD.

The coat has been released along with a number of Resident Evil Village-themed bundles, which include various combinations of merchandise including an art book, a statue, weapon miniatures, and art-printed postcards.

As well as standard medium, large, and extra large sizing, the coat is also offered in a size called "original model," which is apparently the real-world equivalent of Chris Redfield's in-game size.

The original model size is roughly the same measurements as the extra large in length and width, but significantly larger in the shoulders. This version is apparently closest to the original piece of clothing that was scanned by the developers to make up the in-game model.

Since Resident Evil Village debuted its first big showcase, fans have been more interested in the mysterious tall vampire lady Lady Dimitrescu, leaving us all wondering when everyone's new favorite character will get her own line of merchandise.
