Now Playing: Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion - Release Trailer

Every month, Xbox Live Gold members can look forward to a few free game downloads, and the newest offering of Games With Gold for March are now live: Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 for Xbox One and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, which has been free since March 1, will continue to be available for Gold members until March 31.

Hopefully, you were able to snag Super Bomberman R and Star Wars Republic Commando, the two games that were free for the first half of this month. They'll return to full price now.

Pirates of the Enchiridion is the most recent game based on beloved cartoon Adventure Time, and it gives players control of characters like Finn, Jake, and Marceline to investigate why the Land of Ooo has been flooded.

Plants vs. Zombies fans will appreciate the free download of Garden Warfare 2. The light-hearted shooter expands the series with new characters, modes, and solo content while retaining the humor and ridiculous costumes that make it so entertaining.

Finally, there's Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which takes place four years after Metal Gear Solid 4 and puts players in control of a cybernetically enhanced Raiden. In our review, we praised the game for its adrenaline-pumping combat and Raiden's compelling story.

PVZGW2 is a shockingly fun, stable, competent, funny, and complete game. There's just a ton of content, same-screen AND remote CoOp, the whole family can team up and play with or against others, and you earn enough currency to always be unlocking new and varied toons

If any of you haven't played it, I highly recommend Republic Commando. It's one of the best squad-based first person shooters for the Xbox.

@EricShadow366: yeah feels like a long lost halo campaign and that's great. I miss Star Wars games like that.

@EricShadow366: I preferred Brute Force but lamented that it's squad based awesomeness came out around the same time as a little games called Halo and it was quickly eclipsed.

StarWars Republic Commando was an awesome game..

The only complaint is/was = it's short.. There's 3 large levels with each taking you about 2-4 hours each..

But that's if you rushed it & on a easier difficulty....

***My favorite memory was the simple yet effective squad controls..<<very easy to memorize..

**Weapons..you get 4 guns & the D-pad picks the gun..

Shotgun you press left,,,snper is down, pistol up,,assaultRifle etcetc..

this system impressed when the game launched...

**ALSO~~ Whne this game was in development it was THE GOLDEN AGE of StarWars Gaming...

**StarWars Galaxies,,,KOTOR-1,,,And Republic Commando we're all coming soon & we had the empty box @ Gamestop

aka EB games......All 3 games we're E P I C compaired to the crapycrap StarWars Games of the well everything since TheForceUnleahed has sucked...

~EA gambled on StarWars fans/gamers wouldn't care & need nothing more then eye candy & something to grind & micros to buy..

*If the game had anything honest gameplay wise like a MetalGearSolid V unlock/FOB system instead of just pointless team deathmatch/hold the point....Star Wars will never be better then the mentioned GoldenAge..

EA & Activision will never change from the greed because ethe shareholders aren't gamers...

ugh!

@sippio: yep. Like Activision, Ea, and Ubisoft, Lucasarts was big on capitalising on the Modern hype. Difference being the pitch was, "New star wars movie out, we need to make new game. Here, watch Episode 2, come pitch some ideas and we'll let you know." Of course a lot more was green lit. They were not asking "How is this game going to generate income 9 months after release?" Back then they new what they had. It was friggin Star Wars. It's gonna sell. Just make something worth buying huh.?....

Say what you will about the prequels, they ushered in the golden age of Star Wars game.

@sippio: I have no arguments with any of that. I really loved the real Star Wars Battlefront 2 on the PS2, and 3 looked to be amazing. Sadly it got...corrupted and turned to the most vile garbage of all Star Wars games. That's including A Very Star Wars Christmas: The Interactive Commodore 64 Journey Through the Masterpiece of the Show! A very never seen title.
