THQ has announced that Lance Henriksen (Millennium, Aliens, and The Terminator) will be providing the voice of Molov in Volition's upcoming first-person shooter sequel, Red Faction II. Molov is a commander in the Army of the Commonwealth and the leader of the nanotech-enhanced soldiers in the game. Red Faction II continues where the original game left off, and it places an even heavier emphasis on the geo-mod technology that lets players blast through walls and other objects in the environments.

"The design philosophy we have with Red Faction II is to create a truly cinematic and involving experience for the player," said Mike Kulas, president of Volition. "The addition of Lance Henriksen's voice talent adds intensity and a distinct style to the game's audio, which is a significant aspect of the overall experience. In Red Faction II, players will be immersed in nonstop action with the ability to completely interact with the game environment and also be part of an intricate storyline featuring multiple endings."

Red Faction II is scheduled for release later this year.
