HD God of War I & II due this holiday

I so hope the same would happen to the MGS series

a great bundle, even thought I have both of those games for my PS2 I will probably buy this as soon as I get a PS3 :D I recommend to everyone ;)

I actually am stoked to see these kind of bundles. Between this and the Metroid Prime Collection, we gamers can get some great game-time with truly amazing games for our money, and thankfully the prices are quite reasonable for those that may have missed these the first time around.

I wonder why it can't be done @ 1080p.... the detail is WipeoutHD is stunning in full 1080, and above the PS2 quality of God of War... I guess we'll have to cross our fingers that they add in 1080p scaling ala Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

@ rcm_da_best but this game wouldnt be half as good if the graphics wernt there. graphics is what brings the gore to this game and trophies makes it more challenging. take infamous for example......who would do all the stunts if there wasnt a trophy for it??? not many people......

I, as a player who enjoy exciting plots and beat 'em up gameplay, enjoy God of War's exciting plots and violent beat 'em up style brutality. Graphics and trophies are at the bottom of my priority list.

omfg, ive been looking for this game on PS2 but i cant find it anywhere. now its in high def with trophies!!! w00000000tttt!!!!! ill buy the full bundle if their selling all 3 versions together. btw it says "this holidays"....does that mean it releases in like a week???.....or tomorrow???

They really should have included Chains Of Olympus as well, because less people have played that since the PS2 was way more popular than the PSP. However, if they did that it would have probably knocked down sales of the PSP even more lol. Probably a smart move from Sony, I might still get this too.

Well, I don't own either of the first two but I love Chains of Olympus for my PSP. This is the perfect opportunity to get my chance with them so I can catch up with the storyline before GoW 3 is released. Definite buy.

Yes, my PS2 busted when I tried playing Dog of War on it. I guess my PS3 can handle it. Finally I can play GOW 1 and 2.

Wow this is great news. I bought a component cable just to play GOW (in 480p on my LCD tv) when it first came out in 05. Now playing it in 720p would be awesome

wonder what the platinum trophies will be for this ones...and the timing is right, this holiday, right before march GOW III... SONY was making some stupid and alienated moves, but looks like someone got a facepalm and now they are going things right

Thank Heavens. After giving my cousins both my god of war games, I was gonna replace them. Good thing i waited till now. I hope these new HD ones are compatible with the god of war 1 and 2 saves I've already got on my PS3. I dont think I can be bothered playing through the Titan modes again. They were really annoying. (The gow multi-Kratos and gow2 Theseus fights anyone?!!!!)

I already have to buy Assassins Creed 2, Uncharted 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and this all of these are coming out around the same time. damn you Sony...releasing all these games in Holidays 2009, my pockets are gonna be really empty this holiday season. not that I'm gonna complain about it, these games are worth it.

@iGam3 If your PS3 is not BC then yes it is worth it. I'm buying this as a gift for my cousin who has played part 1 and loved it.(His copy was stolen) Might get a copy for myself as well.

I don't understand the complaints. God of War 1 & 2 already retail for $20 each so it's still the same price but now it comes with HD support and trophies. This is a great deal and if you don't think so don't buy it.

Definitely getting this. And to all those people going omg, theyre tricking people into buying old games ohhh, stfu. Its good for them to release old classics and exclusives as those who had not previously played the games are able to pick up the story line for the sequels. The more games the merrier.
