HD God of War I & II due this holiday

gr8!!!!!!!!!!!! gow hd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is really cool because I don't have my PS2 anymore...I don't have a PS3 either but will be getting it soon and would like to replay GoW1 & 2 before getting my hands on 3. I love these games.

i want these games on Xbox!

I just sold off all of my PS2 games GoW and GoW2 included. This is a definite buy for me. For the HD, the trophies, and the enjoyment of playing some of my favorite games. I still hope they come out with a collectors edition for GoW III that includes this disc. That way, if I decide to purchase some other newer games for now, I'll be able to pay a little extra and get these games when I buy GoW III. _

I'm very happy about this. For those of us who went from the original Playstation straight to the PS3, this is great news.

i always wanted to ply the other GOW. I only played it on then PSP which was mad!

i dont see how this is a big deal. Put 2 15$ games on 1 disc and charge 40$. im passing. Didnt really like GOW2 much, GOW1 was great. both are short anyway.

Man I can't wait for this. I've played all the God of War games, even the one on PSP. This is gonna be so awesome. :P

Same boat as you DrKill09. I actually I borrowed them from a buddy and I'm about half way through the first one only. Maybe have to finish playing them in HD!

If they would add a HD version of Chains of Olympus, this would probably be the best news ever :)

i already have my 80 gig ps3 (the old one) and it plays GoW1+2 just fine so ill prolly skip out on this the trophies and the HD bit of the blu-ray pack seem like something id want though

I own both of these games already & i think im still gonna get this when it comes out. The God of War series is great & it wont cost as much as the newer games that r comin out so yea when it drops im gonna get this.

actually i was happy with my god of war games on ps2 but adding the trophies makes it more enticing for me......yeah that's right....trophies and achievements DO matter....lol

This holiday season is looking better and better as far as video game releases go. @ mInDsHiFtEr You'd think so but look at how they're handling classic releases on the Wii at $5 or more a pop.

OH! MY! GOD! (of war) This has been the most genius idea Sony has had this generation. This is simply pure awesome. I don't think that anyone is able to say, "Bad move, Sony. Bad move."

they should compile older nintendo games together onto one collection disc, and sell that at a profit...shouldn't be any licensing issues b/c they're so freaking old, right?

Holy dick crap!!! I was thinking the other day, wouldn't it be cool if they released god of war 1 and 2 with blu ray graphics??? that and Oprah have convinced me to believe in "the secret"

I really hope that GOW chains of olympus can be included in this remastering...that'll really give it a complete trilogy...EPIC!

This is pure awesomeness. My first God of War broke and I never got to buy the 2nd one as I had too many other games to buy. I'm so going to buy this, HD & Trophies & Great Games. Though I don't yet see this in shops to pre-order from. :/

Yes! This is such a good incentive to buy the PS3 but more better for us that already HAVE one so that we're not left in the dark with the beginning of the series (and us anal people so that we can add it to our collection haha). I'm certainly getting this. This was the piece of the God of War puzzle I needed. :p

Wow this is a surprise. In the gamespot e3 stage demo, the game director of GOW III said God of War I & II most likely would not come on blu-ray for all ps3's because the costs to do so would be extremely high, and then this happened! Cool =)
