The Ultra plan includes HBO, Showtime, and more than 100 other channels.
PlayStation Vue's other plans include Access, which includes over 55 channels for $30 ($40 if you live in one of the aforementioned cities); Core, which features more than 70 channels for $35 ($45); and Elite, which includes everything from the Ultra plan except HBO and Showtime for $45 ($55). You can check out the specifics of what each plan offers here.
HBO launching on PlayStation Vue comes just in time for the series premiere of Westworld, a new show that reimagines the 1973 Michael Crichton movie of the same name. HBO's Westworld is produced by Star Wars: The Force Awakens director JJ Abrams and Jonathan Nolan, who served as co-writer on several of his brother Christopher's movies, such as Interstellar and The Dark Knight Rises. The sci-fi western stars Evan Rachel Wood (The Wrestler), Anthony Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs), Ed Harris (The Rock), James Marsden (X-Men), and Jeffrey Wright (Casino Royale).
