HBO Max Gets Big Discount Ahead Of The Last Of Us Premiere
Sign up now to watch the upcoming The Last of Us premiere.
HBO and PlayStation are celebrating the upcoming premiere of The Last of Us TV show with a great deal on 1 year of ad-supported HBO Max. With the discount, that brings your first year to just $70 instead of the normal $100/year for the annual plan. You can snag the deal from the link below, which includes the coupon code PSTLOU.
There’s no indication of how long the offer will be available, but the coupon code is valid for new and returning HBO Max subscribers in the US.
After your discounted year is over, your HBO Max subscription will roll over to the current full-price annual membership unless you cancel ahead of time. HBO Max also offers a monthly payment plan for the ad-supported tier at $10/month, as well as an ad-free option for $16/month or $150/year. The ad-free price just went up from $15 to $16. The discount code is not valid for the monthly plan or ad-free tier.
This offer is a great way to try HBO Max and ensure you can watch the upcoming live-action The Last of Us TV series starring Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, Game of Thrones) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones, Hilda) as the iconic duo Joel and Ellie.
In GameSpot’s review for the series’ first episodes, Mark Delaney praised the series as a faithful adaptation of the original game’s story and atmosphere, saying “The Last of Us on HBO feels like the beginning of a new era for live-action video game adaptations.”
The Last of Us premieres Sunday, January 15, on HBO and HBO Max.
