Harry Potter on top again
EA's fantasy adventure game based on the popular J.K. Rowling novel takes the top spot in NPD's latest list of best-selling games.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Electronic Arts' popular adventure game based on the J.K. Rowling novel of the same name, regained the lead on NPD Techworld's latest list of best-selling games. The Sims: Hot Date, EA's virtual-life game expansion, came in second place, followed by Backyard Basketball, Infogrames' children's sports game. The Sims itself came in fourth place. RollerCoaster Tycoon, Infogrames' theme-park management game, took fifth place, continuing its remarkable selling streak more than two and a half years after its initial release.
