Harry Potter's magic will soon be upon us, as Electronic Arts is readying one of the biggest releases of the year, Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone. The game will be released on four platforms: the Game Boy Advance, the Game Boy Color, the PlayStation, and the PC. We have over 100 new screenshots from the PS version today. In the game, players will assume the role of Harry Potter as he enrolls in Hogwarts and embarks on a journey to unlock the secrets of his own magical abilities. Along the way, players will experience a series of challenges inspired by the book's story line, such as a 3D "roller coaster" ride through Gringotts and a flying broomstick chase to retrieve the Remembrall for Neville Longbottom.

The PlayStation version features numerous 3D environments based on Hogwarts, which players can explore by climbing, jumping, and sneaking. Players will attend lessons to learn new spells and get new potions from various minigames. In total, there will be more than 20 NPCs to interact with, including the studious Hermione Granger and the wise professor Dumbledore. Even the Quidditch game was adapted in the game. Special items such as the invisibility cloak, wizard sweets, potion ingredients, Chocolate Frogs, Famous Wizard cards, and broomsticks can be uncovered as well.

Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone is being developed by Argonaut Games and will be published by Electronic Arts. It's currently on schedule to be released on November 16.
