Harrison Ford Told Indiana Jones 5 Stunt Performers To "Leave Me The F**K Alone" For One Scene

"I said, 'Leave me the f**k alone.'"

At the age of 80, Harrison Ford still wants to do some of his own stunts. He rejected the help of stunt performers for one particular scene in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

The movie opens with Ford's Indiana Jones riding a horse through Manhattan. When he finished the scene, he was immediately approached by people who wanted to help him get down off the horse--but Ford thought he should do it himself to make it look more believable for a person of his age.

"I thought, 'What the f**k?' Like I was being attacked by gropers," he told Esquire. "I look down and there's three stunt guys there making sure I didn't fall off the stirrup. They said, 'Oh, we were just afraid because we thought, you know, and bah bah bah bah.' And I said, 'Leave me the f**k alone, I'm an old man... Leave me alone, I'm an old man getting off a horse and I want it to look like that!"

Ford comes back to play Jones one last time for The Dial of Destiny, which releases on June 30. The movie also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen. It's the first entry in the long-running series that is not directed by Steven Spielberg, as James Mangold is directing.
