Hands on: NFL Blitz 99

Blitz 99 is just hitting arcades around the country. GameSpot News got some time on Midway's sequel to NFL Blitz.

The most notable feature of the game is its four-player capability. The machine has four controllers that allow four players to battle it out. One player quarterbacks while the other player plays as one of the receivers. This role reverses each possession giving each player a chance to QB.

The arcade game also has a memory pack port that allows players to make plays at home on their N64 NFL Blitz game, save them to a memory pack to then use on the Blitz 99 arcade machine.
