"RTS game exclusively on X360? I'm sorry, isn't that synonymous for "fail"? It's RTS. Okay if you want it on the X360, but it HAS to be on PC. RTS just isn't the same on consoles..." No it isn't. Have you been under a rock for the past couple of years? LOTR and C&C have proved that RTS works just fine on 360. I have no no doubts this game will work great on console. Granted PC is better, but console is by no means bad anymore, not like it used to be.

I think it's wonderful that this title is for the 360. The 360 is my favorite platform for RTS games. I don't like sitting three inches away from the screen to play these type of games. I wonder if this will be as good as the newer Command & Conquer games or if it will just be a giant load of fan service. (Admittedly, I'd like to check out the graphic novel.)

Its incredibly stupid to have a game of this caliber on a console. As a matter of fact, the whole "RTS-on-console" thing is incredibly stupid. RTS games are for PCs - PERIOD !!!

Time to get back into strategy games! I have C&C 3 coming to through goozex, as well as Culdcept Saga. And Kane's Wrath is in my que! Time to leave the FPS's for awhile and get back into this genre! Halo Wars is gonna be great!

Feb 27?, Competing against Killzone 2 isn't a smart move. The gameplay, destructability, story and graphics have everyone in the industry amazed while Halo wars has remained pretty secretive. After reading this I geuess I have 2 games to buy on Feb 27.

a game, expansion, and new maps, this will be a great year indead plus Call of Duty Modern warfare 2!

Real-Time Strategy is a genre that has been getting more and more popular on consoles with all the cool games like Command & Conquer 3, Battle for Midearth 2, and University at War. Halo Wars has me more excited than any of them!

@ Justinwhite Yeah I think RTS for halo was the original setup "So I hear". Kinda like what Westwood did for C&C RTS to C&C Renegade. Looking forward to this game, if has the voice comands like End War I see that as a +. So long as it works as well as the End War command system.

@steelsoldier Microsoft wants to do something different for a change, which i'm all for. I'm not concerned about the controls. I'm just concerned that it will get stale because of doing it "by the numbers."

So let me get this straight,Japan a country that couldnt give 2 dog turds for Master chief get the game first.

The game looks like a watered down RTS for the console audience. I guess if they pull off the Halo atmosphere well and have a good singleplayer campaign, the game could be decent, but I'm not counting on it. This is Ensemble Studios after all... AoM and AoE2 were good, but AoE3 was crap, and this game is supposed to be AoE3 with spartans and elites, so yeah.

It looks quite good would prefer it on the PC as many people have stated it usually just feels better on a PC (although im not saying it will be bad on console) depending on how the controls for it are will make or break this game as for the gameplay and story i have no worries esemblem are fantastic designers. Hopefully the team have not taken a cant be bothered approach to the game in protest to microsoft shutting them down ;)

PSdual_wielder, Command & Conquer 3 says, Heeeeelllllloooooo! Not perfect, but far from bad. The controls in the game were really good. Maybe inferior to the PC version, but it is one of the best RTS games on a console.

Can't wait. Have never been disappointed with anything in the Halo universe.

USA get's this last get over it, It has to do with a PS3 exclusive coming out on 27th Killzone in Europe! Anyway you get every other game before us so it make's a nice change. Do you even know how long you had resistance 2 over there before it shiped in europe?

If it's a 360 exclusive then why the hell did they force the Halogen mod to stop? It was almost done when they pulled the plug, too! Well, I guess they figured a professional console game just wouldn't be able to compete with a pc mod made by a small group of fans. Having said that, I'm still probably going to get it (after Europe and Asia, wtf?)

Why are people bringing up End War like it's a bad thing? End War may not be the greatest game but it's a pretty good RTS that's a lot of fun to play, and its main feature was the use of voice commands, something I don't think we're going to have to worry about with Halo Wars, but if you were really more interested in Halo Wars than you are about being a smartass you would have known this.

gamer082009: This game IS being made by the "professionals", it's being made by the same company that did the Age of Empires series.

Tizzsnoodle: Just because it hasn't been done right before doesn't mean they can't get it right now. Battle For Middle Earth 2 worked decently for the console and this one is being made EXCLUSIVELY for the console so there's a bigger chance that this might end up working. Plus, its control scheme is already being praised.

In my opinion, RTS's dont belong on consoles. The controls always suck.

RTS + Halo = the original idea for the game. I think it will translate well and can't wait to get this.
