A new trailer for Paramount's Halo TV series has arrived. Titled "Fight as One," the new trailer spotlights what's to come for Master Chief (Pablo Schreiber) and his squad as they continue the fight against the evil aliens known as the Covenant.

As you can see in the trailer below, Season 2 takes the action to the planet Reach. Anyone familiar with Halo lore understands the significance of this. Here's the trailer:

Season 2 marks a big change for the Halo show, as Season 1 showrunners Steven Kane and Kyle Killen dropped out. For Season 2, David Wiener (Flesh and Bone, Fear the Walking Dead) steps into the role of sole showrunner.

For Season 1, the Halo show reportedly cost $10 million per episode, making it one of the more expensive TV shows ever produced. A budget on that level puts it close to Game of Thrones.

Joseph Morgan (The Originals) and Cristina Rodlo (Too Old to Die Young) join the cast for Season 2, playing the roles of James Ackerson and Talia Perez, respectively.

In other news, Schreiber recently spoke about how he fought against the writers' plan to have Master Chief have sex in Season 1. "I don't write the scripts. I only give my opinion. It wasn't listened to," he said.

In addition to Schreiber, the returning cast includes Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, and more. If you're just catching up on the Halo TV show, every episode in Season 1 is streaming for free on YouTube.

Halo Season 2 arrives February 8 on Paramount+.
