Halo 5 Sees Actor Nathan Fillion Return, This Time to Hunt Down Master Chief

Firefly actor Nathan Fillion will reprise his role as Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck in Halo 5: Guardians, it was announced this week as part of Game Informer's extended coverage of the upcoming shooter.

Buck previously showed up in Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach, but the character looks better than ever this time around, as you can see in the image embedded here.

In Halo 3: ODST, Buck was an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, meaning he had no Master Chief-like super abilities. But now we see him wearing Spartan-like armor.

Game Informer's reveal trailer also shows that Buck is part of Fireteam Osiris, the squad led by Agent Locke and charged with hunting down Master Chief.
