Halo 5 Dev Teases March's Free Content
Looking ahead.
February's Hammer Storm update for Halo 5: Guardians launches this week, but what's coming next in March? Developer 343 Industries has now started to tease fans. Last night's livestream event ended with a brief teaser for March's update. It looks like it will include new weapon skins, a Halo 3-era Assault Rifle, and a new skin for the Mantis mech vehicle. Check out some screencaps in the gallery below, while the video itself follows further down.
What appears to be a new map is also showcased in the brief teaser. The clip starts at around 2:36:27.
Included with the free Hammer Storm update is a new Arena map (Torque) and Grifball, as well as lots of new Reqs, including the Gravity Hammer. Check out the graphic below to see all the new Reqs.
Hammer Storm is Halo 5's fourth free update since the game launched in October 2015. The other three were Battle of Shadow and Light (November 2015), The Cartographer's Gift (December 2015), and Infinity's Armory (January 2016). 343 has pledged to continually support Halo 5 with new free content through at least June 2016.
