The Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer is scheduled to begin December 29 for everyone who bought Halo: The Master Chief Collection, but some Xbox One owners won't have to wait that long to play. Game Informer reports that Xbox Live Preview Program members are being given codes to play the beta today.
The Xbox Live Preview Program is an invitation-only program that gives select Xbox One owners access to new content and features before they are made available publicly. Members should receive a message in their Xbox Live inbox today with a code to download the Halo 5 mulitplayer beta.
Microsoft has also released a new trailer for the Halo 5 multiplayer beta, which gets you up to speed with what to expect from the three-week trial that runs December 29-January 18. For an even deeper look at the Halo 5 multiplayer beta, you can watch Microsoft's six-part series, The Sprint.
