Halo 5 Ads Play Before Star Wars 7 in Some Theaters
Halo and Star Wars, together at last.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End isn't the only game that's being promoted in movie theaters this weekend with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. With the movie opening in theaters last night, people on Twitter report that videos for Halo 5: Guardians are running before The Force Awakens in some US theaters.

Microsoft marketing executive Aaron Greenberg confirmed on Twitter that Xbox One ads will play in front of The Force Awakens.
GameSpot has contacted Microsoft in an attempt to learn more about what first-party games other than Halo 5 might also be shown before the movie.
It's not very surprising that Microsoft and Sony would choose to promote their games with ads before The Force Awakens. The sci-fi film is a blockbuster that's expected to draw huge crowds. Early box office numbers are bearing this out, as The Force Awakens has already broken records globally.
Other promotional efforts for Halo 5, released back in October, have included a funny skit in which Rob Gronkowski dresses up as Master Chief and a Robot Chicken segment.
