Halo 2 also had 15 missions but was too short, Halo 1 had 10 missions but was nice and lengthy, I hope Halo 5 has lengthy missions, they said its longer than Halo 4 so that's good to know, I think Halo Reach had good length to it too

I feel like I've seen these before.

Avatar image for ramen_noodles1

I'm going for that lone wolf achievement, have done halo 1, 2, 3, odst, reach, and 4 all solo legendary

Avatar image for Hondje89

@ramen_noodles1: Same here! Halo 2 was a b**** though. Those Jackal snipers, ugh.

Avatar image for ramen_noodles1

@Hondje89: yeah i hated those, had to die so many times to figure out where every single one was and then get them in time

Avatar image for Marky360

I used to do the same did it for 1,2,3 but I stopped because I realized it's pretty pointless because you don't get anything for doing it.

Avatar image for ramen_noodles1

@Marky360: besides the fact you get an achievement, you can show off and its a self accomplishment

Avatar image for Marky360

Yea I don't get the point of achievements because they really don't do much I have basically stopped paying any attention to both them and trophies because I just really don't see the point. And as far as self accomplishment goes I just don't get much of a sense of accomplishment from beating a hard video game it just doesn't really matter to me or seem very important. When I said don't get anything I was talking about something more tangible and useful like unlocking the bandanna skull or you know just something cool like that. I think it would be better if there was an actual reason for you to go through all the trouble.

Looks like a decent and standard list for a Halo game, I'll be ready to tackle these cheevos when I get the game.

People don't seem to realize how well and fair the microtransactions are implemented in Halo 5. Just a bunch of complaining. If you don't support it, don't buy it. I for one do not see any reason to.

Avatar image for Marky360

Doesn't really matter how fair it is though if there are microtransactions in a full on $60 game it's still a rip. It's not like Halo 5 is free to play.

Tank beats everything!

And it still does XD

Avatar image for Marky360

So much this the Scorpion Tank is the most badass vehicle in gaming.

Avatar image for rosinmonkekyx17

@Marky360: I feel nostalgia running through me from thinking back to Halo 3...And that marine that yells," Tank beats everything!"

Avatar image for Marky360

Yea I know I love that part "Tank beats Ghost. Tank Beats Hunter. Tanks Beats EVERYHING! Man I could do this all day"

Never has their been a better line in a video game lol

Avatar image for rosinmonkekyx17

@Marky360: Lol, exactly what I was thinking

Avatar image for Burriscold

Cannot wait for this!!

Achievements are horrible can get all mp ones in just a week.Looks like Halo 5 will be a rental since 343 got lazy with the online achievements

Avatar image for PsychicKiller82

@flames325: This is just dumb of you to say, there should not even be multiplayer achievements even if they are easy. To have everything work perfectly to get achievements in multiplayer games is frustrating this is where Call of duty thrives just achievements in campaign and zombies unless its get to a certain level in multiplayer.

Avatar image for ramen_noodles1

@flames325: seems your only getting this game for achievements, what a shame

Avatar image for Hondje89

Game looks truly great! I just miss split-screen...

Avatar image for Marky360

Same here sigh

@Hondje89: Make a crack halfway through your TV. Problem fixed.

I've always enjoyed Halo's competitive side, i.e. 4v4 on smaller maps with MLG/competition settings. But Warzone still looks awesome to me! Bit bummed there are microtransactions that grant more powerful weapons and vehicles. I can imagine this might frustrate newer players as they'll not only be out-skilled, but also literally out-gunned because of these MTs.

Avatar image for deactivated-5a30e101a977c

@corinion: You can buy all that stuff, but that doesn't mean you can use it. Only if you play good enough in the game, your level will be high enough to use the stuff you actually bought. So it's not like a very bad player can use the craziest things online. They still have to achieve a certain level during the match, to use those packs he bought.

Avatar image for corinion

@FastRobby: Alright, two equally skilled players both unlock a certain tier at the same time and are awarded a weapon of choice. The paying player will have the stronger weapon, and thus the advantage if I understand this correctly.

Avatar image for deactivated-5a30e101a977c

@corinion: That's correct, but playing two games of warzone in a row will give you enough credits to buy the most expensive pack. So paying players will only benefit 50% of the time

Avatar image for corinion

@FastRobby: I see, thanks for clearing that up. Not too bad then, especially since Warzone isn´t that competitive anyway. But in that case, I wonder what incentive there is to spend money on REQ if it´s so easy to earn it in-game.

Avatar image for m4a5

@corinion: "...microtransactions that grant more powerful weapons and vehicles." MT's don't grant more powerful stuff, they only allow you to buy more packs at once (all of which can be bought with points earned in game).

Not my favorite way to earn stuff, but it's no paywall, so I don't care too much...

Avatar image for Marky360

Ok so where's the achievement for buying all the microtransactions all at once?

Avatar image for TTDog

@Marky360: Just under the one for buying all the Destiny microtransactions... as is always the case, you don't have to buy anything to play that you don't want to.

Avatar image for Marky360

On I see so there's an achievement in Halo 5 for buying Destiny Microtransactions as some type of homage to the original creators. Makes sense.

Avatar image for wkadalie

@TTDog: It's not nice when a casual can get way better gear faster.

Avatar image for WhoIsTheDrizzle

@wkadalie: It's only for war zone. The classic arena(where all the "skilled" players will play) will not allow any calling in or using anything outside the map except weapon skins. But if you're that worried about encountering a player calling in a sniper rifle or tank(like a casual would..hmmm), you should probably just git gud.
