Halo 4 is 99 percent complete

Lets see, there has been halo 1:CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3:odst(expansion/spinoff), and Halo: Reach. Thats 4 actual halos, and a campaign.. the original halo launch in 2001. 11.5 years.. Why does everyone keep acting like halo is a CoD and is being milked? Given, i have always loved halo for mplayer + co-op.. i kinda lost interest after odst, and never finished reach. Good, solid games still, just not for me so much anymore. I just don't get why everyone attacks this series so much, when you look at everything that was included with halo:3 and Reach, they have so much value for the $$$.

I guess its POPULAR to hate on POPULAR things these days. lol ;) Halo has been one of the most solid franchises of this gen and last. It doesn't deserve the hate, and has not resulted in making all FPS' imitate it ala CoD. There aren't enough sci-fi FPS out there.. i am personally so sick of "modern combat" as a setting in general.

I'll be there day 1 to start another AAA trilogy! Great work 343 studios to shutting up all the critics who thought Bungie was the be-all.

yea and its 35% derivative, 50% rehash, and 15% sucky....

The fact that they're still working on it impresses me; most companies go gold months ahead and then are surprised when people find glitches and the like. Keep it up 343!

@theKSMM Frankie's job is largely announcements and press interactions. Him making statements wouldn't slow down or otherwise affect the game's development

It's a fresh breath of air and it is still being over seen by the boss, its creator. 343 looks like they are doing a fantastic job. How could you not give it your ALL when working for a legendary IP like this one. Beautiful.

Why did he feel the need to say this when the game has fixed it's release date? It has zero relevance unless they're going to push it back.

Even though I've loved Halo in the past, I'm having a hard time talking myself into paying $120 to get back on the train.

Well i guess is one of those, we gonna have to wait and see. Bungie is not runing the ship so the game in my opinion is still up in the air with 343 studio. If i have to guess my self, i just saw that video that is posted in this page of Halo 4 runing, and it really looks good, but still u have to play the game u self to see if 343 studio really created a good game or if if just a let down for the Halo franchise.

I gotta say, I had my doubts about a Halo game being developed by someone other than Bungie, but the more I see of Halo 4 the more I think it's a good thing. 343 seems genuinely excited about Halo and the game looks better for it.
