Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be adding Halo 3: ODST's Firefight later this summer. The addition means that MCC will have the complete versions of Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach and Halo 4 on Xbox One when Firefight is added. Currently, only Halo, Halo 2 and Halo: Reach are available on PC, but the rest of the collection is coming, with Halo 3 being added next.

Announced on the official Halo Twitter account, the teaser video mentions the post-launch additions of Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach to MCC and the collection making its way to PC. The video includes Firefight gameplay, but it's labelled as Xbox 360 footage.

Firefight is a wave-based survival mode where up to four players work together to survive the onslaught of the Covenant. The mode was originally introduced in ODST and has appeared in Reach and Halo 5: Guardians' Warzone mode.

In other MCC news, Halo 3 for PC has a few more bugs that need ironing out before the beta test begins and 343 Industries has increased efforts to ban players for racist and hateful behavior.
