GURPS goes online

Steve Jackson Games, creator of the popular GURPS tabletop role-playing system, and developer Worlds Apart Productions have announced a partnership to create multiple online games based on the GURPS system, a flexible set of game rules that has been used for games that take place in a great variety of different settings.

According to the announcement, "immediate development plans have not yet been announced, but a number of titles are being contemplated, with an emphasis on making the best use of the ability of GURPS to provide a common gameplay foundation for a wide variety of settings." We'll have more information on the upcoming GURPS games as soon as it becomes available.
