Guitar Heroes to play at UK festival

Gibson Guitars is looking for experienced Guitar Hero players to get onstage at the UK's upcoming Download Festival at Donington Park. The festival takes place from June 9 to 11, during which time fans of the game will be able to get onstage and perform in front of up to 2,500 people. Gibson is inviting virtual shredders to play the game in between acts, such as Killing Joke and Skindred, and anyone attending the festival with an interest in playing should e-mail the event's organisers. There may also be the opportunity for passers-by to walk up and have a go on the game, although this hasn't been decided definitively as of yet.
