Guitar Hero II creator plays UK

Harmonix's Josh Randall to give rare lecture at Cybersonica festival in London, as well as show Guitar Hero sequel for first time in UK.

Josh Randall, creative director at Harmonix Music, will be in the UK to talk about Guitar Hero II on May 19, and it will be the keynote lecture at the Cybersonica Festival. The festival will include a look at Harmonix's past games, including Frequency and Amplitude, as well as the UK premiere of Guitar Hero II.

Harmonix was responsible for the development of Guitar Hero, which was published by RedOctane, as well as the replica of the Gibson SG controller. Randall will talk about his experience developing for the title, and will look forward to the challenges and social impact of music gaming.

The Cybersonica festival runs from May 19-20, 2006. Josh Randall will be delivering his talk at 5:15 p.m. (BST) on May 19.
