Guillemot Renews Top Gun License
More flight sticks bearing the Top Gun insignia are heading our way from Guillemot's ThrustMaster.
ThrustMaster, now a division of Guillemot, announced this morning that it has renewed its Top Gun license agreement with Viacom. ThrustMaster already has two flight-combat sticks under its Top Gun branding, the Top Gun Platinum and the Top Gun USB, and the company will be adding an entirely new line of products thanks to the new license agreement.
"The Top Gun legacy will continue with our new joysticks," said Alain Pakiry, executive vice president of ThrustMaster. "To us, Top Gun epitomizes a sense of challenge, high performances, and outstanding self-achievement that has no limitations. Combined with ThrustMaster's reputation for leading-edge accessories, the Top Gun joysticks will offer gamers the most realistic flying experience."
While it's not known what sticks will bear the new Top Gun logo, ThrustMaster has stated that it will unveil its entire line of joysticks, Top Gun included, at E3.
