GTAIV rolling out April 29

alihayatahmed, have u lost ur mind, GTA has sold at least 11 mil every time out, Halo 3 has sold about 7 mil which beat the halo 2 record of 6.6 or something, GTA has always sold more copies than Halo. and this are two different games alfredozero so u cant compare then other than sales wise.

This won't outsell Halo 3, even though it'll probably be an exponentially better game. A lot more people know about Halo 3 than they do GTA, and a lot of those nubs who bought Halo 3 only care about multiplayer which GTA is not focusing on. GTA probably won't get as much advertising either, and a lot of the media time it'll get will probably be from conservative-sh*t FOX news that'll blame it for the same old stuff, like they did with Mass Effect. In the long run this may sell out Halo 3 since Halo 3 sucked a55, but on launch I don't think so.

Com'n Rockstar, stick to this date and have the game finished by then. At least the Xbox version :)

Terminator95, it is not that serious buddy, ur a gamer not a company rep, as long as WE have good games to play regardless of what system u have, we are all winners (well I own all three, so I am a 3 time winner not a deadbeat fanboy who only is allowed one system by their parents)..... if u really wanna talk sales, u just better hope that GTA doesnt have the same sales difference as COD4 and Assassins Creed when the 360 outsold the ps3 damn near 10 to 1 in copies.

TMontana1004, ur talking about launch sales, Halo 3 had three different prices when it came out, thats why it had the sales record. when GTA SA came out, one 50 dollar edition, it sold more copies overall. when ur selling a legendary edition for 130 bucks, ur making double for one game.

I have mine pre-ordered. If you didn't pre-order you copy, do it now. You won't be able to find this game on retail shelves come April 29th. Yeah.. it should outsell Halo 3 worldwide. Don't know if it'll sell over 1 million copies on it's first day, but this game will definitely outsell Halo 3, MGS4, GT5 and anything else coming out this year. Watch and see.

hbk3000 its a SONY PLAYSTATION Game series to begin with!!! and I think CRAP BOX was the one that delayed it 6 months. They had the PS3 version ready for Ocotober 2007. And GTA 4 will Sell out more then that Crap box game halo 3! This is SONY'S Year. Year of the playstation.

enoslives7 Actually, us Wii owners are perfectly happy to play such "cutesy" games like Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Metroid Prime 3, and Brawl when it comes out in a couple of months. What I'm trying to say is that you're a tool who doesn't appreciate good games. I own both a Wii and a 360. Both have their merits and faults, but each has some really great games on their platform. That said, GTA4 is going to be epic.
