GTA: San Andreas rated for PS3
Entertainment Software Ratings Board listing suggests 2004 open-world action game to see new life on Sony platform; Vice City re-rated.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been rated for the PlayStation 3. The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) has published a new rating for Rockstar Games' 2004 open-world action game, suggesting the title will be released on Sony's home console through the PlayStation Network.
In addition, the ESRB has re-rated Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for PS3, following an original rating in January 2012. A Rockstar representative was not immediately available for comment.
If GTA: San Andreas and Vice City do release for the PS3 through the PlayStation Network, they will follow GTA III, which landed in Sony's virtual marketplace last month.
Additionally, this news comes on the heels of Rockstar's announcement last week that GTA: Vice City will release for iOS and Android devices later this fall in commemoration of the game's tenth anniversary.
