Rockstar has released a new update for GTA Online, which offers double cash and RP for Freemode Events and Challenges.

As detailed in a recent blog post, players will also get the chance to earn double cash and RP on Power Play, a game mode that focuses on collecting power-ups while battling enemy teams. The new update also grants Acid Lab boosts, offering a 50% production speed increase, along with a 30% discount on all lab supplies.

Raiding Stash Houses also yields additional rewards, with a $100,000 payout to those who crack safes on three different days this week. GTA Online will get new "Ugglies" shoes, along with additional accessories as part of the update, as well.

On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, GTA Online has received a new Premium Test Ride called the Principe Devaste Eight, as well as the HSW Time Trial, which sends players on a race to Chiliad Mountain from Terminal. Expect new offerings at the Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom, including the Karin Futo GTX, Coil Cyclone, Pegassi Vacca, and a slew of others as part of the update.

Rockstar has supported GTA Online since 2013, but that's not the only project under the company's belt currently. The developer is still working on the next mainline game, presumably GTA 6, which is expected to launch in the next couple of years. "It needs to be something you've never seen before," Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said, in reference to GTA 6.
