The new teaser trailer for Grand Theft Auto Online's big new expansion contains a clue that might point to Grand Theft Auto 6, or so fans want to believe. Fans found that when they plugged in GPS coordinates spotted at the bottom of the video into Google Maps, they get directed to a dirt road in Virginia. Looking at the land from the eagle eye terrain view, you can clearly see a windy road shaped like VI, the Roman numeral for 6. GTA 6 rumors have started up again as some people are suggesting this is some kind of tease or reference to the next GTA game.

Earlier this year, Kotaku reported that Rockstar Games had begun work on its next game, a new entry in the GTA series. However, Rockstar Games has not confirmed this.

GTA 5 is one of the most successful video games in history, shipping more than 135 million copies to date. The GTA Online mode remains immensely popular, bringing in more money all the time from its various microtransactions.

The Cayo Perico heist update launches on December 15, introducing a brand-new area to the map where players will take part in a daring heist. In addition to the new area and heist mission, the update makes changes to the heist design system so you can play alone or with up to three others. There are also more weapons and vehicles in the update, along with new "social spaces." There are more than 100 more songs coming to the in-game radio stations, too.

GTA 5 and GTA Online will continue to expand in 2021 when GTA 5 comes to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with new improvements. A standalone version of GTA Online will also launch in 2021, first on PlayStation and then other platforms.
