Rockstar Games has announced the next update for Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer mode, Grand Theft Auto Online. The update, called Executives and Other Criminals, lets players become a "VIP" and then establish their own crime ring.

The free update, coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (but not Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) next week, also adds new gameplay modes and luxury-themed items. In addition, it comes with new customizable apartments, new homes in Vinewood Hills, and a massive Super Yacht vehicle.

In addition, Executives and Other Criminals adds more co-op jobs and challenges. You can also for the first time hire (and fire) other players for your own squad of bodyguards. These bodyguard players earn a steady paycheck, as well as benefits like RP, GTA$, and statistic boosts for their efforts.

There are also new missions in the update, featuring new cars to unlock such as an armored limisouine called the Turreted Limo. The Super Yacht, meanwhile, can be upgraded with new items and even other support vehicles such as the SuperVolito Carbon helicopter and a personal watercraft.

Rockstar also explains that some existing Freemode events, including King of the Hill and Moving Target, will automatically change when they are played by criminal organizations. There is also a brand new mode included with the update called Extraction, which challenges a team of bodyguards to seek out, find, and safely extract an "executive" from a downed jet before a team of enemies can kill the target.

Executives and Other Criminals also comes with a series of new weapons and vehicles, though these were not detailed. The update arrives on December 15.
