GTA 5 Looks Jaw Dropping With This PC Mod

@rarerichz: yes, pc is king, it's the best way to definitively play any game availiable right now. but you and all the others can't seem to wrap your little head around one simple truth.

pc's are capable of graphical fidelity 100000000x more then what is actually used in current games, they're simply console games upscaled to the highest level of ****, the engines are BUILT around console hardware. even the engines built around pc hardware are designed in such a way that a console could run a dumbed down version, because THAT is where the money is.

i'm not here dissing pc's, I love pcs, pc's have been my definitive way of gaming since fucking half life 1. I'm simply dissing the stupid morons that think they're better then everyone else just cuz they game on a pc, simply because every pc game that don't suck is on a console. and they look practically identical. compare crysis to a benchmark console game of it's time, hell compare HL2 or stalker to a console game of the same era of the pc game engine. you'll see.

4k is totally inpractical at this time, and indie games are shite. I remember after playing crysis, upgrading my rig to smash it, I remember worrying that crysis would be the best game pc users got for a very long time. that developers will simply upscale their console engines to run at better fidelity on pcs, instead of designing an engine specifically for pc games that would be 10x better. n guess what, the next major multi platform release was cod 4. and the pc version was graphically awful... and they only actually got better as newer cods came out pushing console boundries that little bit more and then being introduced to pc.

the point? 10 years ago pc's could match the graphical fidelity of now. and now they can match graphical fidelity of a PS5 or PS6 but it will NEVER be used, because there's no money in it.

@asmoddeuss and how many of those games pushed boundries? maybe the first stalker, or half life 2. crysis was the last time a PC's limits was pushed. I upgraded my pc for crysis then again for BF3 and bf4 and there has been absolutely nothing over the years to justify the money spent. all you get now is the exact same game console players get just at ultra high instead of high and 1440p instead of 1080p. and just for the record i wouldn't even consider an rts to be a game.

It is really easy to put yourself on a high platform to cement your argument in the internet, reality is it sounds pathetic.
