Attention gamers in Singapore: GameSpot Asia is proud to announce the next community games night at the end of the month, specifically on September 23. The game that will be featured is the football title FIFA 11.

The recent entry in the FIFA video game series is quoted as being "the best and most addictive version of the series" thanks to key improvements to its core soccer gameplay. It also won the award for Best Sports Game of 2010 by GameSpot.

We're going to rough it up on the field at the end of the month.
We're going to rough it up on the field at the end of the month.

As usual, we will be holding a friendly tournament for FIFA fans starting at 7 p.m. at E2Max in Cathay Cineleisure, Singapore. Our 16-man tournament will be a standard single-elimination match using standard e-sports rules. We will be using both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game. After the tournament, participants and audience members are free to play on until 11 p.m.

Head down to this link to register for the event as a way to celebrate the soccer genre before FIFA 12 hits shelves on September 27.

@ThursdayFc Don't be so ignorant. Malaysia hosted a Fifa and PES tournament and over 10,000 were present. The numbers might not mean a lot to you, but for a small country like Malaysia, it's an achievement. And fyi, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan has strong online communities in FIFA.
