Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne won't be the only cross-media promotion that EA and BioWare commission for the Canadian developer's upcoming fantasy role-playing game. Green Ronin Publishing has been tasked with development on the P&P RPG, which is expected to be available at "card shops, book, and comic retailers" this summer. The game company's previous credits include work on the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Black Company, and Thieves' World tabletop RPGs.

EA did not delve into specific details on the Dragon Age: Origins P&P RPG, saying only that it "extends the Dragon Age universe." Green Ronin plans to offer the initial game as part of a boxed set when it releases in the coming months, with additional sets and supplemental books planned for future release.

Dragon Age: Origins proper is expected to arrive on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this fall. For more information, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
