Ubisoft today announced that the latest game in the Tom Clancy series has shipped to stores. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike, the stand-alone expansion to Ghost Recon 2, is now available exclusively for the Xbox. The game was developed by Red Storm Entertainment, the same team behind the original Ghost Recon games and Rainbow Six: Lockdown.

Summit Strike sees the elite "Ghosts" peacekeeping in Eurasia, where trouble is brewing thanks to a Pakistani warlord's assassination of the Kazakh president. Gamers will control a squad of Ghosts across Kazakhstan as they hunt down the warlord and his army.

The game will have open-ended missions, with multiple objectives that can be completed in any order. Gamers can expect new skins, 15 new weapons, and 11 new missions in the single-player campaign. The multiplayer content includes 24 maps and game modes in both urban and rural landscapes.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 is rated T for Teen and retails for $29.99. Check out GameSpot's recon for a full review of the game.
