The free-to-play tactical strategy game Duelyst is out now on Steam. All purchases and progress carry over from the existing PC version, as long as you sign into Duelyst with the same account.

We reported that Duelyst was coming to Steam earlier this month, and now players can download it to their libraries. Players can also expect the game's first full expansion, Denizens of Shim'zar, to launch on August 30. It introduces 105 new cards, expanding Duelyst's total card count to 400.

You can pre-purchase Spirit Orbs, which are essentially card packs, for the expansion now at a discount. $50 gets you 50 orbs until it launches, and if you preorder, you unlock the Shim'Zar card back. 10 percent of the money from preorders goes to the Duelyst World Championship Circuit prize pool. You can get more info on the Championship Circuit here.

Creative director Keith Lee told us that the Steam version of Duelyst is "exactly the same" as its regular client and is completely cross-platform. On top of that, the Steam version automatically shows other Steam friends playing Duelyst in the in-game friends list.

Duelyst is also slated to come to PS4 and Xbox One, though no release date has been confirmed. GameSpot will keep you up to date as more information is revealed.
