DreamCatcher has launched a new official Web site for Gore, its upcoming multiplayer action game, according to a report on Blue's News. The new site contains an explanation of the game's background story, descriptions of the game's different weapons, characters, and maps, a gallery of screenshots, and some downloadable wallpaper images.

Gore is set in a dark futuristic world in which the government has developed a virtual reality combat training system to train its soldiers. The game includes an offline single-player ladder system, as well as a variety of multiplayer modes, including deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, and tactical warfare. Players will choose from eight different character classes, each with different weapons and abilities. Most of the weapons in the game also have secondary fire modes, giving players a wide range of options.

The game also keeps track of characters' stamina, so players must be conscious of their strength as they move, jump, and carry heavy weapons. In addition, Gore features a detailed armor system that keeps track of each character's armor. In order to destroy a heavily armored enemy, players will have to focus their fire on a specific area.

Gore is in development at Nebraska-based game studio 4D Rulers, and it is scheduled for release this summer. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game and visit the game's new official Web site.
