Google Stadia Adds Two Extra Launch Titles To The Stadia Pro Range, Issues Refunds

You'll be issued a refund if you already bought the game.

Google Stadia has not been out long, but already extra games have been added to the $10 monthly Stadia Pro subscription that all owners of the Founder's Edition have. From December 1, Google Stadia Pro will come with four games instead of the two it launched with--but it's entirely possible that you've already bought the games that will be made available.

Google has announced that on December 1 at 9AM PST, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition will be added to Stadia Pro, joining Destiny 2 and Samurai Shodown. Google Stadia launched on November 19 in a few regions, and the Founder's Edition came with a three month trial of Stadia Pro. Until very shortly before launch, the only game announced for the Pro subscription was Destiny 2, which is free-to-play on other systems.

Of course, these games have been available since launch, and some users have already purchased them. Tomb Raider is available for $10, meaning that quite a few early adopters looking to bulk out their library have likely bought it; Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition sets you back $50 before December 1. As one Twitter user noted, it's possible to request a refund on your purchase. [UPDATE: Google has confirmed that any Stadia owners who have purchased these games will receive a refund.]

The official refund policy for Google Stadia states that "you can request a refund within 14 days of your purchase if there is less than two hours of play time across all accounts." Stadia released less than 14 days ago; it remains to be seen if there will be any leniency on the play time rule.
