A commentary mode for The Fullbright Company's nostalgia-packed exploratory adventure Gone Home has been added as a free update to the game on Steam.

The new mode adds 90 minutes of commentary from the game's developers, and can be accessed through Gone Home's Modifiers menu when starting a new game. When activated, the game's house will feature audio markers that can be interacted with to hear the snippets of commentary.

The developer is now selling the game for $9.99, a 50 percent discount, until October 25. Gone Home can be purchased through its own website and Steam.

"With excellent writing and remarkable attention to period detail, Gone Home turns the process of exploring a house into a captivating and deeply poignant journey of discovery," said Carolyn Petit in GameSpot's 9.5 review of the game.
