GoldenEye Turns Rental Gold

Coming as no surprise, Nintendo's GoldenEye 007 debuted at the top spot on the Video Software Dealers Association's (VSDA) VidTrac charts.

Nintendo scored a bit of a coup by making the game available for rental a few days before it landed at retail stores.

As has been the case for the past few months, Nintendo again dominated the video game rental charts, with the top five games all being for the Nintendo 64. Here's the rundown for the week ending September 7.

1) GoldenEye 007

2) Star Fox 64

3) Mario Kart 64

4) Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire

5) Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
