Gold Edition of Civ III on the way

Atari and Firaxis Games announced their intention to release Civilization III: Gold Edition on October 28 for $39.99. The Gold Edition includes the full version of Civilization III and the Civilization III: Play the World multiplayer expansion pack.

Additionally, Atari and Firaxis confirmed that Civ III's second expansion pack, Civilization III: Conquests, will also ship to retailers on October 28. The publisher has updated the game's official Web site.
