Going Underground with Zork

Activision gears up for Zork Grand Inquisitor with something special.

Comments

Gearing up for the November release of Zork Grand Inquisitor, Activision will be releasing a new Zork text adventure on Thursday.

The new adventure, entitled Zork: The Undiscovered Underground, was written by Marc Blank, one of the original founders of Infocom and coauthor of the original Zork Trilogy. Blank also coauthored the Infocom classic Enchanter, and authored its first mystery game, Deadline.

Zork: The Undiscovered Underground serves as a prequel to the upcoming Grand Inquisitor, which itself is the first part in a new planned trilogy of Zork games.

The Undiscovered Underground will be available tomorrow for download from Activision's Zork Grand Inquisitor site, along with Zork I and Zork II.
