You'll have to wait a little while longer to see Godzilla fight King Kong.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has announced that the new movie, Godzilla vs. Kong, has been delayed by a number of months. It's now due to launch on November 20, 2020, which is about eight months after its previously scheduled March 13, 2020 release date.

Now Playing: Godzilla: King Of The Monsters - 'Beautiful' Trailer

It will be the third new film in the Warner Bros. monster universe since 2014, following Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017), and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019).

Godzilla vs. Kong is directed by Adam Wingard--he previously directed the spooky movies The Guest (2014) and Blair Witch (2016). The new monster movie promises a battle for the ages, with Godzilla and King Kong duking it out.

The three movies in WB's monster universe have combined to make around $1.5 billion. The newest movie, King of the Monsters, was the worst performing of the bunch, bringing in $385.9 million worldwide.
