Godzilla vs. Kong is now in theaters (and on HBO Max), and the epic fight of the two titans is now coming to another place: World of Warships.

Wargaming has teamed up with film studio Legendary and Godzilla's owner, Toho Co, Ltd., for a unique partnership that brings the battle to World of Warships and World of Warships: Legends. Godzilla and Kong will be featured on ships and they're also playable commanders.

On top of that, there is movie-themed camo, patches, flags, and more coming in the partnership, which begins in May. There is an extended sequence in Godzilla vs. Kong showing a battle between the Titans on battleships, which explains why this is partnership makes some amount of sense.

Here is the full description for the special event:

In this ultimate heavyweight battle, there can be only one winner. Representing Team Godzilla, wearing blue and weighing 41,217 tons is the Japanese battleship Amagi. In the orange corner, representing Team Kong and weighing 37,484 tons is USS North Carolina battleship. Both teams will come with unique movie-inspired permanent camouflages, but also with their own consumable camouflages, patches, flags, and more. On the console side, World of Warship: Legends players who choose Godzilla will have a unique battleship by the name of Heat Ray while the Kong fans will have a great counterpart in Primal, a battleship representing the creature's might. All that will be offered together with the accompanying commanders, consumable camouflages, patches, flags and more.

Wargaming's Aleksandr Nikolaev said in a statement, "World of Warships is always searching for new and exciting content our players would appreciate and we are delighted to share with them our vision of this legendary titans clash."

Legendary's Sam Rappaport added: "Wargaming is the perfect partner to allow fans to jump into the action and take part in the long-awaited showdown between these two massive Titans."

This is just the latest partnership between Wargaming and a titan of another industry. Before this, Wargaming partnered with Russian ice hockey superstar Alexander Ovechkin in one of the more absurd corporate partnerships we've ever seen.
